Town of Mountain Park Requests OSBI Assistance Following Cybersecurity Breach The Town

The Town of Mountain Park has requested investigative assistance from the Oklahoma
State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) following a cybersecurity breach a????ecting the town’s computer network. The request was made on May 11, 2026, after town o????icials identified unauthorized access to municipal systems.
State investigators are currently examining the incident under the Oklahoma Computer
Crimes Act. The Town has notified all residents whose information may have been
impacted by the breach.
“The security of our community’s information is of the utmost importance,” town officials
stated. “We are committed to full cooperation with OSBI and will continue working closely
with investigators to identify whoever is responsible for this criminal activity.”
The Town of Mountain Park is implementing additional security measures as the
investigation continues and will provide updates as new information becomes available.
